An urban dinner during the Labour Party conference reinforced how much common ground exists between Core Cities UK and colleagues in the Special Interest Group of Municipal Authorities, Key Cities and London Councils, says Cllr Liam Robinson.
It was a huge privilege to welcome colleagues and minister Jim McMahon and former Core Cities UK chair Baroness Judith Blake to the municipal splendour of Liverpool Town Hall for our urban dinner during the Labour Party conference.
Although the dinner took place during conference, one of its greatest strengths was that it wasn't a partisan occasion.
