This is a challenging position developing a range of service provision models and suppliers available to the councils that will enable the successful achievement of the strategic priorities.You will be CIPS qualified and be able to demonstrate your ability to work in conjunction with a range of officers and stakeholders to identify the needs and develop a range of service delivery models that is required to support the councils' transformational vision.You will create a ‘centre of excellence' for commissioning and procurement at the heart of the councils and actively lead the work across service areas to ensure that the councils comply with all relevant procurement legislation and achieve value for money.

Corporate Manager Asset Utilisation

An exciting position ensuring that the assets within the districts (both publicly and privately owned) are utilised to their maximum advantage.You will be RICS qualified and be able to demonstrate your ability to work with and influence developers, communities and partners to identify assets that are empty or underperforming and develop proposals that will help to revitalise the local economy and either reduce costs or generate income for the councils.You will determine an accommodation strategy for the councils and actively shape proposals coming out of the ‘One Public Sector Estate' initiative across Suffolk. Corporate Manager Public Realm

This highly rewarding position will ensure that the public realm of Babergh and Mid Suffolk is clean,welcoming and well managed.You will have a relevant horticultural qualification and be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver a professional and technical advisory service on horticultural, open space (both existing and proposed), recreational provision, arboricultural and streetcare matters. You will develop a new delivery model for open spaces and streetcare services as well as manage council owned parks, car parks, public open spaces, countryside sites, pitches, playground equipment and events on council owned land.
