Costain Group Plc has won a £120m contract from Swiss plant construction company, Von Roll Inova, to design and build a waste plant in south-east London. The company will design site infrastructure, as well as build the main building, jetties, roads and offices. Work started in July for the project, estimated to be worth £350m in total. A City analyst said: ‘This win, in addition to Costain's strengthening order book, enhances its credentials in waste-resource management and alternative energy generation.'
