Bob Coomber has been named as Plymouth CC's interim chief executive and will take over from Barry Keel, who retires at the end of this month.
Mr Coomber will lead the local authority until a permanent chief executive is appointed later this summer. ‘Bob has a strong track record and will help the council maintain its momentum of change while we recruit a permanent chief executive,' said council leader, Cllr Tudor Evans.
