A picturesque village that has featured in several Hollywood blockbusters has been given a mini-makeover courtesy of Buckinghamshire CC.

Funding from the local authority's South West Chilterns and Marlow Local Area Forum has helped refurbish Hambleden's 100-year-old traffic island, which is in the middle of the village.
