A former member of Tewkesbury BC and Gloucestershire CC has been disqualified, after fraudulently claiming benefits. Cllr Sean Connors was banned from standing for election for four years by the Adjudication Panel after a Standards Board for England investigation. Cllr Connors was ordered to pay back the £1,100 he fraudulently claimed for child care expenses, and was given a 200-hour community punishment order. The Adjudication Panel agreed Cllr Connors had brought his office and authority into disrepute by making the false claims.
