I have of late taken to photographing & recording the details of cars parked on a local pedestrian crossing.I provide a short statement of fact to the local fuzz & they prosecute - £60.00 fine & 3 points.Well done Bedfordshire Police for taking a practical & common sense approach - many forces simply refuse to accept this sort of evidence if they are given it on a plate.As part of the local Street Watch scheme we are able to exponentially increase the footprint of law enforcement for minor offences.I have to say its hugely rewarding to see idiots who park across crossings (when they think they can get away with it in villages) getting their just rewards - a true local leadership role for Councillors!!Could catch on I suspect
