Cardiff city councillors met today to discuss plans to share or sell services to other authorities to help manage £33m budget cutbacks.

Cardiff city councillors met today to discuss plans to share or sell services to other authorities as part of proposals to cut £33m from its budget.

The local authority's budget strategy for 2014/15 was approved by the cabinet on 22 July and will be considered by members at a full council meeting. The strategy includes a recommendation to look at establishing a new organisation to deliver services and maximise funding streams.
