The Government's new blueprint for planning aims to put local communities and councillors at the heart of the planning process, while making it easier for councils to grow their local economies.
The draft National Planning Policy Framework was unveiled by planning minister, Greg Clark, earlier this week – a slimmed-down policy blueprint from the current 1,000 pages to a more svelte 52-page document.
