A request for council help from the beleaguered Building Safety Regulator (BSR) fell on deaf ears this year, with only one authority offering support.

Only West Suffolk DC offered a single worker as the percentage of councils stepping forward dropped by 98% from the previous financial year when 63 local authorities offered up more than 140 workers.
