Councils across the UK are being invited to sign up to a forum set up to raise awareness and help protect the nation from flooding. Gloucestershire CC has launched the Local Government Flood Forum to raise awareness of the need, both locally and nationally, to take flooding seriously. Made up of local authorities from across the UK, it will work to share best practice and push for funding for flood protection.
