Four councils with £70m of projects under review have signed up to a new public sector funding partnership, which claims to make it easier to lever-in private investment in public property and assets.
Dudley MBC, Dorset CC, Bolton MBC and Southend Council have signed up with Public Sector Plc, created to offer councils funding through their property portfolios. It is backed by a joint venture between the Winston and William Pears Groups.
