Nine councils set to receive ‘innovation squads’ as part of the Government’s ‘test, learn and grow’ programme have been revealed by ministers.

Nine councils set to receive ‘innovation squads' as part of the Government's ‘test, learn and grow' programme have been revealed by ministers.

Barnsley, Wakefield, Manchester, Liverpool, Sandwell, Northumberland, Essex, Plymouth and Nottingham will receive support from Whitehall policy officials, tech specialists and other experts to test news ways of fixing local problems.
