Three major county councils are in talks over sharing key services – including fostering and adoption – under cost-cutting plans.

Three major county councils are in talks over sharing key services – including fostering and adoption – under controversial cost-cutting plans.

Worcestershire CC, Staffordshire CC and Shropshire Council have agreed to meet every three months to consider ‘common ideas' on savings, which could include moving back-office operations from individual councils' headquarters.
