Staffordshire CC failed to meet an autistic teenager's education and care needs in his transition to post-16 education, according to the local government ombudsman, Dr Jane Martin.
Her report released on 6 December found several failings in how the council carried out its ‘vital' role of providing proper support for the child. Dr Martin found maladministration causing injustice.
