Hertfordshire CC has awarded the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) an eight-year contract for pensions administration and pensions payroll.
Covering both the local government pension scheme (LGPS) and Hertfordshire fire pension schemes, the council has indicated new arrangements are expected to deliver £1.6m efficiency savings over this period.
