Cumbria CC will invest £95,000 in rolling out 'Homeshare'.

Cumbria CC will invest £95,000 in rolling out ‘Homeshare', a scheme designed to match people who need help at home with those who need somewhere to live.

The initiative should help young people live with older people for reduced rent, or receive free accommodation in return for help with housework. The council hopes to make more than 100 successful matches across the county over the next few years.
