Gloucestershire CC held a cabinet meeting in Sharpness yesterday (Wednesday), as part of plans to make meetings more accessible to residents living in rural areas.
‘Cabinet meetings are already well attended at Shire Hall, and by getting out and about into the districts, we hope that people who wouldn't normally make the journey into Gloucester will come along,' said council leader, Cllr Mark Hawthorne.
