The Nuclear Free Local Authorities network has welcomed the High Court ruling which criticised the Government's lack of public consultation on plans to build a new generation of nuclear power plants. Spokesman Jamie Wooley said: ‘NFLAs intend to play a comprehensive role in ensuring local authorities and their citizens are properly consulted in all aspects of decision-making relating to nuclear new build.'
