Coventry to follow councils' lead with living wage

The leader of Coventry City Council has pledged to introduce a 'living wage' for staff, which will be partially funded by cutting senior posts.

The leader of Coventry City Council has pledged to introduce a 'living wage' for staff, which will be partially funded by cutting senior posts.

Cllr Ann Lucas, who took office last month, has pledged to introduce the living wage within 100 days 'so our hard-working employees who earn the least can get a better reward'.
