Crawley pauses on West Sussex reorganisation

West Sussex’s Crawley BC will wait for ministers to decide on Surrey’s reorganisation proposals before giving any views on unitarisation in its own county, The MJ understands.

West Sussex's Crawley BC will wait for ministers to decide on Surrey's reorganisation proposals before giving any views on unitarisation in its own county, The MJ understands.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is expected to make a decision in early autumn on Surrey's reorganisation proposals, which include a joint unitary bid from Crawley and Reigate & Banstead BC crossing the county border.
