Croydon LBC has been assisting with a police investigation involving council property, 107 Walton Green. Police have been searching the former home of convicted paedophile, Leslie Ford-Thrussell, after receiving a tip-off that bodies were buried in the garden. ‘We re-housed the current tenants two months ago,’ a council spokeswoman said. ‘We are also providing advice and counselling for surrounding tenants.’ Mr Ford-Thrussell is currently serving a jail sentence for 37 offences against children, including rape.
