Liverpool City Council's plans to attract more cruise ships to its revamped docks area have taken a major step forward.

Liverpool City Council's plans to attract more cruise ships to its revamped docks area have taken a major step forward, after giving the green light to plans to create new local turnaround facilities.

The development will be built on a vacant plot of land owned by Peel Ports, and should be ready for its first vessel, the Ocean Countess, by the end of May.
