While many councils took to the internet and social media websites to encourage voters to turn out for this month's local elections, Buckinghamshire CC turned back the clock by sending out the town criers.
The criers hit the streets of High Wycombe, Chesham and Aylesbury on 2 May faster than you can say 'oyez, oyez, oyez' and implored local residents to exercise their democratic rights.
