Cumbria CC has revealed all energy supplied to council buildings is now officially from renewable sources. The deal to source all energy from green providers has been done in conjunction with Barrow BC, Carlisle City Council, Copeland BC and the Lake District National Park Authority. ‘This is a great example of major organisations in the county working together to deliver the best outcome for the people of Cumbria,' said a spokesman.
