Portsmouth City Council's chief executive has congratulated the city's football club on reaching the FA Cup Final in May. David Williams has written to the club's chief executive, Peter Storey, following the team's ‘fantastic achievement'. He said: ‘Getting to the FA Cup Final and representing the city is the realisation of a life-long dream for the club's thousands of supporters, and it is sure to be a wonderful occasion, helping to put Portsmouth in the national spotlight.'
