Harrow LBC, winner of The MJ Awards 2011 Best Achieving Council category in June, has seen a big increase in residents' satisfaction since landing the award.
Chief executive, Michael Lockwood, said July's residents' survey showed the biggest improvement ever, with satisfaction up 11%, while, for his council staff, winning had ‘instilled a positive buzz, a confidence and a real sense of energy.' The number of visits by other councils had also increased since the awards.
