Hampshire CC could face a judicial review over its cuts to Sure Start centres – despite extending the consultation period.
Pram-pushing protesters handed a 12,000-strong petition to council leader, Ken Thornber, this week, calling for a rethink of the cuts. The council has now extended its consultation – at a cost of £500,000.
