Nottingham City Council leader, Cllr Jon Collins, has claimed a new report by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation proves that public spending cuts are unfairly targeting some cities, such as Nottingham.

Cllr Collins said the report confirmed that the poorest councils were being hit the hardest by the cuts. ‘If the Government doesn't change course and start treating councils fairly, we'll have to make savings in the services people really care about,' said Cllr Collins
