The Information Commissioner Richard Thomas has set a 35-day deadline for Liverpool City Council to supply background papers and report on plans to set up ‘managed' red light prostitution zones to Everton resident, Pauline Daniels. Mr Thomas has told Liverpool chief executive, Colin Hilton, that he could face High Court action for failing to supply papers requested under the Freedom of Information Act. The city council has apologised and said it will fully comply.
