A national energy-switching scheme involving 30 not-for-profit organisations, including councils and housing associations, was launched this week, helping provide cheaper deals to both residents and energy firms.
The Cheaper Energy Together partnership – funded by the Department for Energy and Climate Change – provides a free, instant-switching service for residents.
