The historic Victoria Baths in Manchester remain closed, three years after television viewers voted to save the building in the BBC series Restoration. The building is owned by ~Manchester City Council~ and an agreement has now been reached that the £3m Lottery grant from the series will be spent on the outside and structure of the Turkish baths. The Victoria Baths Trust is now looking for a developer to help restore the rest of the building as the cash from the BBC series was never intended to cover the complete works.
