Calderdale MBC has announced plans for a £250,000 fund to help local businesses hit by last week's flash floods.

'While many businesses in the Calder Valley have already reopened, there are some which are in real need of practical and financial help,' said council leader, Cllr Tim Swift. 'And many that are now trading again still need help to ensure they are viable in the longer term.'
