Democratic Services & Elections Manager

The Christchurch and East Dorset Partnership are developing shared services to support both Councils and have recently restructured their Democratic Services and Election teams.

The Partnership is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and forward thinking Partnership Manager to run the new shared service team of Democratic Services and Elections, including Civic Support.

It is essential that as well as being able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of working in both Democratic and Electoral Services that you also have strong leadership skills and extensive management experience.

You will be responsible for the elections team and will act as a Deputy Electoral Returning Officer, and assist in organising and conducting such elections. You will be responsible for implementing the changes brought about by Individual Electoral Registration.
