Derby City Council has revealed plans to slash its homelessness services budget by 81%, despite official figures showing rough sleeping on the rise.

As The MJ went to press, the full council was due to meet on 30 January to discuss plans to reduce the budget from £9.3m this year to £3.8m in 2013-14, and to £1.8m in 2014-15.
