Cardiff CC's policy and economic development department has become the first service area within the authority to earn the Investors in People award. Paul Orders, from the department, said: ‘In introducing the Investors in People ethos, policy and economic development has been able to improve its approaches for business planning, learning and development, performance reviews, leadership competencies and evaluation of performance.'
