West Devon is one of the best places to live in England, and is the best area in Devon, according to local residents. In a government survey carried out last year, 90% of residents said they were satisfied with West Devon as a place to live. Of 238 district local authorities, West Devon ranks second alongside Winchester, Harrogate, South Norfolk and Suffolk Coastal.
