Devon CC and contractor South West Highways held a 24-hour Twitter marathon on Monday to highlight the wide range of activities undertaken on a daily basis.
‘This is not a gimmick or about blowing our own trumpet,' said cabinet member for highways, Cllr Stuart Hughes.
