A leading light in Brighton and Hove's regeneration has died at the age of 53. The council's director of cultural services and deputy chief executive, Tony Miller, died last week of cancer. He was behind the city's Jubilee Library project and the revival of Brighton's cultural quarter, and had worked in local government since 1990, beginning as a press officer.
