Title

Director of Education, Quality, and Standards

Do you have a passion for school improvement? Well add a new perspective to our brand new team.

Taking the lead on quality and standards, you will work in partnership with a wide range of providers, from early years settings and schools to FE colleges to ensure that every child and young person in Kent receives their educational entitlement. Championing the needs of vulnerable learners will also be vital to your success in the role.

Familiar with the barriers to learning faced by young people aged up to 24 and indeed the challenges of adult education, you will have a proven track record in education, local government, academia, or a similar environment. Your skills in project management and relationship building will be matched by a sound understanding of the Kent economy.

Raising attainment in education and improving the life chances of vulnerable children and young people are of paramount importance to Kent County Council, the largest local authority in England. We have recently appointed a new Corporate Director of Education Learning and Skills so this is your chance to secure a brilliant future for yourself.
