Director of Legal and Democratic Services

To help us achieve this, we are seeking a highly competent leader who shares Trafford's passion to transform our Legal provision. You will lead a team through a period of intense change whilst improving performance and developing a strong customer focus. Additionally, as Monitoring Officer, you will offer advice and guidance to members and chief officers.

A key part of your success in this role will be the delivery and strategic development of scrutiny and governance services together with a significant contribution to corporate and cross service working to achieve the most effective services possible for Trafford communities. You will bring substantial experience in legal practice at a senior level within local government or a large complex organisation, together with a proven track record of success in leading and developing teams through major change programmes.
