Director of Public Health Up to £114k - Hackney

Looking at things from a new angle is often the ideal starting point for innovation. If you can bring fresh ideas and thinking to the public health agenda, you'll quickly recognise that Hackney is a place ready to look at things differently.

This joint appointment offers a uniquely broad canvas.

The public health agenda continues to change; and while integration remains at its heart, we're committed to the kinds of practical action which can make a real difference to our communities. You'll be instrumental in the creation of networks and relationships that can support the delivery of
a cohesive public health strategy across both boroughs.

We need you to bring both a genuinely high-level perspective and the ability to communicate what works, looking beyond the clinical and evidence-based aspects of public health
to embrace the broader priorities and aspirations of our community and our partners.

We know where our challenges lie – we're keen to ensure our focus is on delivering solutions that work. If you're willing to roll your sleeves up and challenge established ways of doing things, and are motivated by driving continuous and sustainable improvement, this role would definitely suit a current consultant who is ready to step up.

Closing date: 2 September.

Contact Steve Guest or Terry McDougall at SOLACE Enterprises on 0845 601 0649 for an informal confidential discussion, or visit Hackney Public Health website. to find out more.
