The chairman of Bedfordshire Police Authority has expressed dismay at a Court of Appeal ruling which opened the way for a damages claim by Group 4 against the police authority. An earlier High Court ruling had said the firm could not claim damages incurred because of a disturbance at Yarls Wood Detention Centre in 2002.
