Troubled West Somerset DC was this week poised to vote on whether to become a ‘skeleton council' which would retain a ‘core staff' but pass on services to neighbouring authorities.
As The MJ went to press, councillors were due to vote on proposals for ‘commissioning neighbouring councils and other organisations to deliver its services'.
