Discussions between leaders at Braintree DC and Colchester BC over a new shared chief executive and senior management team have been ‘positive', it has been revealed.
In a joint statement, Cllr Anne Turrell, leader of Colchester, and Cllr Graham Butland, leader of Braintree, said: ‘Discussions between both councils have been positive and productive', but admitted that there were no current plans for a joint chief executive or shared management set-up.
