Cherwell and South Northamptonshire DCs are set to appoint a single chief executive, Sue Smith, as chief of both districts.
Ms Smith is currently chief executive of Harborough DC, where she has been since 2005. She was previously at Lichfield DC, where she held various posts including deputy chief. Once her appointment is ratified this week she will start at the two councils in May.
