The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has appointed a new president for the coming year. John Dixon, West Sussex CC's director for adults and children, has been vice-president of ADASS for the past year, and now steps into the top post. The organisation has links with the NHS, the Association of Directors of Children's Services, and organisations representing the private and voluntary sectors.
