The Department of Health (DoH) has launched a £300m fund to help local authorities build more homes for the elderly and disabled.

The Department of Health (DoH) has launched a £300m fund to help local authorities build more homes for the elderly and disabled.

The Care and Support Specialised Housing Fund will be managed by the DoH, the Homes and Communities Agency, and the Greater London Authority, and will be used to pay for 9,000 new or modernised homes.
