Troubled Doncaster has unveiled its new top team, including the director of finance and corporate services, which was approved by secretary of state, Eric Pickles, this week.
Simon Wiles, previously corporate services director at Partnership for Schools, will take on the finance post, which required Mr Pickles' approval as part of the Government's intervention strategy for the failing authority. The council said his salary was ‘at the bottom of the CO1 scale' of £112,695-£128,063.
