Entrepreneur and Dragon's Den star Duncan Bannatyne has offered to fix all the potholes in Britain for £6bn.

Mr Bannatyne, who made his fortune from health clubs and nursing homes, made the offer through his account on the Twitter website, following a highly critical report by the motoring organisation AA on the state of Britain's roads.
